Stay overnight at Niagara. Not a listing, but worth saying: the falls are lit at night and the town is built for it. If you were going to spend six hours of a day driving, consider spending one night instead and flying in the morning, when the air is calmest.

None of this is discouraging — it is just not in the headline.
